Eating is a Necessity, but Cooking is an Art



Sweet Bread Rolls




Diced strawberry mixed with a little bit of chocolate syrup.


4 Fresh white bread slices, crusts removed.

A bunch of strawberries, diced into small pieces.

Chocolate syrup

1 Egg (for dipping the rolls in before frying)


  1. First use a rolling pin to roll the slices flat. (this helps them in rolling and keeping it that way)
  2. Sprinkle some chocolate or syrup, or if you like, layer the slice with a thin layer of chocolate syrup.
  3. Then sprinkle the strawberry pieces on one side. (the side from where you are going to roll)
  4. Now start rolling.
  5. Once all of them are rolled, roll them in the egg, turn by turn.
  6. Then place in the oil for frying. (not too deep)
  7. Cook as long as both sides turn light brown.
  8. Take them out. Let them cool down. (decorate as you like)
  9. Then refrigerate for 1-2 hour.
  10. Better taste when they cold.

My opinions:

Made it on my brother’s birthday and he turned it down…big time 😦 I made it with such love 😦 but it was way too sweet for him. I liked it though, but I would say that it is so sweet that a person with a diabetic problem can have a heart attack with just one bite. Kidding. 🙂 But take precautions and it is not necessary to eat it in one sit. Take your time and enjoy.
